Fingerstyle Guitar
Tim plays a wide variety of popular music from Beatles to Bach.  His fingerstyle guitar
instrumentals blend Jazz, Blues, Classical and Country. His playing is the perfect ambience
for parties, restaurants, festivals or any occasion. Tim is always professional, prompt and
courteous.

Guitarist Timothy Price lives in Atlanta, Georgia and has been playing guitar and studying
music for over 25 years.  In Atlanta Tim has studied with Sal Gentile, Steve Cunningham,
Carl Culpepper, Nite Driscoll, Bill Hart, Randy Hoexter, Billy Wilkie, Trey Wright and Alan
Barnes. He has had individual lessons with Erik Halbig (Ty Herndon, Sara Evans), Johnny
Hiland and Richard Smith (renowned fingerstyle guitarist and 2001 National Fingerstyle
champion). Tim has also attended workshops and clinics with Brent Mason (first call Nashville
recording artist), Jimmy Herring, Victor Wooten, Tommy Emmanuel, Pete Huttlinger,
Lawrence Juber, Corey Christiansen, Beppe Gambetta, Jimmy Bruno, Pat Martino and Mr.
John Knowles C.G.P.
Tim also studied at Minneapolis' Music Tech and in 1999 graduated with honors from the
Atlanta Institute of Music. He has been playing professionally for almost twenty years,
and performing and teaching in the Atlanta area for the last ten. Tim has played in a variety
of musical settings including country, rock, blues, jazz, classical and solo fingerstyle guitar. .
Currently Tim is playing lead guitar and mandolin for Atlanta favorites, Banks and Shane. He
is  performing solo guitar gigs, playing with the  Mt. Pisgah Praise & Worship Orchestra and
makes frequent appearances with his own band, "The Tim Price Trio".  Tim also teaches and  
continues his study of fingerstyle, contemporary and country guitar.
